All camp weeks run four different Camp Sessions to choose from:

Classic Camp: Over 40 years of Eagles Nest Ranch traditions come together to make this a week you'll never forget with the coolest staff, crazy games, over-the-top themes, fabulous food, amazing chapel times, and a hilarious campfire. Each day is full of the best we have to offer from the zipline and the climbing wall, to crafts, swimming, paintball (ages 11+), archery, and more.
Dance Camp: Dancers of all ages and skill levels will love Dance Camp at Eagles Nest Ranch. Each morning our passionate and talented instructor Patan Lee will inspire and excite you while you learn a cutting-edge dance routine. As the week draws to a close you'll get to show off your new moves to family and friends.
Skate Camp: Eagles Nest Ranch is excited to partner with the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association skate leaders to teach all levels of skaters. Hosting Canada's longest snake run, skaters of every age and skill level will have a chance to improve their technique and have a great time learning from expert instructors.
Breakdance Camp: Campers of all ages can increase their skill and develop their style by laughing and learning with Merc. After a week of practicing your moves, you'll be ready to showcase your new skills for the camp and your family!

Partner with Us to Make a Difference

Through sponsorship, we give campers who wouldn’t otherwise have an opportunity to attend camp a life-changing experience. Families can apply for the Camper Sponsorship Fund to help cover a portion of the camp fees. General donations help with overall camp maintenance, upgrades, and programming. We aim to bring as much adventure and wonder to our campers as possible through the generosity of our donors.

We’ll send out detailed lists in June. Standard items to bring include:

  • Closed toe shoes (required to participate in activities like zipline, climbing wall, etc.)
  • Sandals
  • Long pants and a sweater for cooler nights

What should campers not bring?
  • Don’t bring any electronic devices. ENR is a device free camp with no cell service.
  • No outside food/drink. Exceptions are made only for campers with specific dietary needs, and food is kept in the camp kitchen.
  • No bikes.
What are the drop off and pick up dates and times?
  • Drop off is on Sundays from 3 to 4 p.m.
  • Pick up is on Fridays:
    • Arrival 11 a.m.
    • Camper Showcase 11:30 a.m.
    • Official farewell and family BBQ lunch 12 to 1 p.m.
Will campers have phone or internet access during camp?
Eagle’s Nest Ranch is a device free camp unless the device is required for assistive communication with a camper and has been pre-approved for use by the camp director.

Campers may use the office phone to call home if needed between 4 and 5 p.m. or 9 and 10 p.m. We encourage campers to make it through the first full day prior to calling parents in case of homesickness.

In case of an emergency there is a phoneline that is monitored daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.  if parents need to get a hold of a camper (403-527-3815)
Are different dietary options available?
We can accommodate gluten free, dairy free, egg free, and/or nut free diets.

Other dietary restrictions or accommodations may be available on a case by case basis. Parents are always welcome to pack their camper with their own meals to be kept in the kitchen to be accessed at meal times.

Our cook has more than 25 years of experience and understands the nutritional needs of campers, especially at a high energy camp. We ensure all meals are healthy and well-balanced.
Can the camp accommodate medical or accessibility special needs?
We can easily accommodate allergies that are noted on the medical form.

We welcome all kinds of campers with the understanding that many areas, outside of our town hall and main area spaces, may be difficult to navigate for those with accessibility and special needs. Many of the paths to and from different activities are gravel or dirt with tree roots.

We don’t have staff available for one on one aid, but if your camper requires that, we can provide accommodations for the camper’s aide.
How many camp staff are there? What are their qualifications and how are they trained?
We have 70 staff for our summer camps. All summer staff receive a week of staff training with safe camp procedures. Specific certifications for specific areas are verified during the hiring process to ensure they’re up to date and valid.
Are staff trained in First Aid?
We ensure a minimum of one cabin leader per cabin, all leadership, and a minimum of one person stationed at each activity is trained in First Aid. We also have a licensed nurse and nurse helper on staff for the summer.
How does the camp handle emergencies? What is the protocol for contacting parents if there’s an emergency?
We run through all our emergency procedures on Sunday when campers arrive.

In the unlikely event we need to contact all parents, we’ll send an email update and call all parents individually by phone.

Individual camper emergencies such as a personal injury are attended to by our camp nurse and recorded in our registration system. If any kind of bad sprains, broken bones, or emergent care is needed, our office will notify parents immediately.
How many campers share a bedroom? What are the sleeping arrangements?
Camper cabins hold 12 to 20 campers. Most of the cabins are a large open cabin with bunk beds strategically placed to allow for safe pathways in case of emergencies.
How many washrooms are there? Are there showering facilities available?
There is one main boys washroom and shower house connected to the main building, and one main girls washroom and shower house connected to the girls cabins.
How do I pay for camp registration? Are payment plans available? Are discounts or financial support available?
We accept e-transfer and credit card payments. If you’re paying by credit card, payment plans can be set up on the payment screen with bi-monthly or monthly payments.

We have sponsorship available for those families who need financial assistance. We ask all sponsorship campers to pay a $50 deposit and fill in the sponsorship form in the registration process. Sponsorship funds are applied on a first come, and needed basis as funds become available from our donors. Please indicate the amount of sponsorship you require for each camper.

We also offer a sibling discount (less $50 for each sibling in a family). This discount is automatically applied when you register siblings together. If siblings are not registered at the same time, please let the office know and we can add it onto one of the camper’s profiles.
Is there a cancellation or refund policy?
Cancellations prior to June 30 will receive a full refund less the $50 deposit per camper. Cancellations after June 30 are nonrefundable. Exceptions may be made with a doctor’s note at the discretion of the camp director. No refund is given to campers arriving late, leaving early, or asked to leave camp due to disciplinary reasons.
